BOLESLAWIEC

Bolesławiec is a small town in Lower Silesia, Poland, where stoneware has been made since the 16th century. The pieces are decorated by hand with sponge stamps, motif by motif, then fired at high temperature: that is where the blue dots and the peacock's eye you recognise at a glance come from.
